LS160 Car Window Film Transmittance Meter Solar Film Transmission Meter Light Window Tinting Tester
Description:
LS160/LS160A window tint meter measure the light transmittance of all kinds of solar film, architectural film,
heat-insulating film, heat-insulating coatings and so on. 530nm visible light transmittance, UV rejection and 940nm/1400nm infrared rejection can be tested. The transmission meter solar film tester are compact and easy to carry. The tint checker have the function of real-time dynamic calibration, which will carry out self-calibration in real time when there is no test object to ensure that the test data is more accurate. It has data lock function, convenient to check the test results. With CE certificate, no need to worry about product quality.
Features:
1. Simultaneous measurement of visible light transmittance, UV rejection and infrared rejection.
2. Its compact size makes it easy to carry.
3. Test slot 0.8mm, suitable for testing various types of solar films, architectural films and other materials.
4. With the function of real-time dynamic calibration, the test data is more accurate.
5. The solar film tester has data lock function, convenient to check the test results.
6. With CE certificate, no need to worry about product quality.
7. Ultra-low power consumption, energy saving.

1. What is the difference between a metal film and an endothermic film?
The metal film is produced by a magnetron sputtering process. A large amount of metal elements are added and the has a good reflection ability to the infrared film. It is insulated by the principle of reflecting infrared rays. The absorption film is added with an infrared absorber during production and the infrared is absorbed by the film. It is insulated by the bsorption principle and secondary heat radiation will be generated after the heat absorption is saturated.
2. Why are 1400nm instruments so much more expensive than 940nm instruments?
It's all about the cost of raw materials. The cost of a 1400nm light source and receiver is much higher.
3. Can the window film transmission meter measure the insulation rate?
Our instrument measures the infrared rejection rate. The higher the infrared rejection rate, the higher the thermal insulation rate. Because visible light also has a small amount of heat, in the strict sense, the heat insulation rate needs to integrate visible light, infrared and ultraviolet heat insulation data. Ultraviolet heat is very small and visible light is beneficial. Therefore, infrared is the main source of heat, so the infrared rejection rate is basically equivalent to the thermal insulation rate.
